TERMS &CONDITIONS.

The terms that apply when working with Candid Creative.

Last updated: August 2026

1. ABOUT THESE TERMS

These Terms & Conditions apply to quotations, orders, projects, production, installation and other services supplied by Candid Creative Ltd.

By accepting a quotation, placing an order, instructing us to proceed or otherwise engaging Candid Creative Ltd to provide goods or services, you agree to these terms.

References to "Candid", "we", "us" or "our" mean Candid Creative Ltd.

References to "you", "your" or "the client" mean the person or organisation purchasing goods or services from us.

2. QUOTATIONS

Unless otherwise stated, quotations are based on the information, specifications, quantities, artwork and requirements provided to us at the time of quoting.

If the specification, quantity, materials, artwork, delivery requirements, installation requirements, timings or scope subsequently change, we may revise the quotation accordingly.

Any work requested outside the agreed scope may be charged additionally.

Quotations are subject to availability of materials, production capacity and installation resources at the time an order is confirmed.

3. ORDERS AND ACCEPTANCE

An order becomes confirmed when we receive appropriate written approval, acceptance of our quotation, purchase order or other instruction to proceed.

Once production has started, changes or cancellations may result in additional charges.

Where work has already been undertaken, materials ordered, artwork prepared or production commenced, these costs may remain payable if an order is subsequently changed or cancelled.

4. ARTWORK

You are responsible for supplying artwork that is suitable for the intended production process unless artwork or design services are included within our quotation.

Where client-supplied artwork contains errors, incorrect dimensions, low-resolution imagery, missing fonts, missing linked files, incorrect colours or other production issues, Candid cannot accept responsibility for defects resulting directly from those supplied files.

Where reasonably practicable, we may identify obvious artwork issues before production, but our production checks should not be treated as a substitute for the client's own artwork approval process.

5. PROOFS AND APPROVAL

Where a proof is supplied, it is the client's responsibility to check all content carefully before approval.

This includes, where applicable:

  • spelling
  • wording
  • dimensions
  • quantities
  • colours
  • positioning
  • images
  • logos
  • dates
  • contact information
  • finishing requirements
  • overall design

Approval confirms that the client is satisfied for production to proceed.

Candid cannot accept responsibility for errors that were present in an approved proof.

Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges and may affect the agreed delivery or installation date.

6. COLOUR

We take reasonable care to reproduce colours accurately.

However, differences can occur between:

  • screens and printed output
  • different printers
  • different materials
  • different print technologies
  • different production batches
  • coated and uncoated surfaces

Unless a specific colour-matching process has been agreed in writing, reasonable colour variation will not be considered a defect.

7. MATERIALS AND PRODUCTION

Materials may vary slightly between batches and manufacturers.

Where a specified material becomes unavailable, we may recommend an appropriate alternative and will discuss material changes with the client where they materially affect the project.

Reasonable manufacturing and finishing tolerances may apply to printed, cut, fabricated and installed products.

8. DELIVERY AND COLLECTION

Any delivery or completion dates provided are based on the information available at the time and are subject to production, artwork approval, material availability and other relevant factors.

Clients must provide accurate delivery information and ensure that someone is available to receive goods where required.

Additional delivery attempts, waiting time, redelivery or changes to agreed arrangements may incur additional charges.

Risk in physical goods passes to the client upon delivery or collection, subject to applicable law.

9. INSTALLATION

Where installation services are included, the client is responsible for ensuring that:

  • the installation location is accessible at the agreed time;
  • required permissions have been obtained;
  • the area is safe and ready for installation;
  • relevant site information has been disclosed;
  • surfaces are reasonably suitable for the intended application.

Installation pricing is based on the site conditions and information known when quoted.

Unexpected site conditions, restricted access, delays, additional inductions, waiting time or additional works may be charged separately.

10. SURFACES AND REMOVAL

Candid will take reasonable care during installation and removal.

However, the application or removal of graphics, vinyl, adhesives, fixings and other materials may affect existing surfaces.

This can include paint, plaster, finishes, coatings, glass treatments and other underlying materials.

Unless caused by our negligence, Candid Creative Ltd cannot accept responsibility for damage to, or changes in, underlying surfaces resulting from the reasonable installation or removal of graphics, signage or associated materials.

Clients should inform us of fragile, recently decorated or otherwise sensitive surfaces before work begins.

11. SITE DELAYS AND ABORTIVE VISITS

Where our team is unable to complete work because a site is inaccessible, unsafe, not ready, incorrectly specified or unavailable at the agreed time, additional charges may apply.

This may include waiting time, parking, travel, accommodation, labour and return visits.

12. CLIENT-SUPPLIED INFORMATION

The client is responsible for ensuring that information supplied to Candid is complete and accurate.

This includes:

  • measurements
  • quantities
  • addresses
  • delivery instructions
  • installation details
  • deadlines
  • artwork
  • specifications
  • contact information

Additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the client may be chargeable.

13. PAYMENT

Payment terms will be stated on our quotation, invoice or agreed account terms.

Invoices must be paid by the stated due date.

We reserve the right to request deposits, advance payment or full payment before production where appropriate.

We may suspend production, delivery or further services where payments are overdue.

14. INVOICE AND ORDER QUERIES

Any query relating to an invoice or order must be raised by email to:
accounts@candidcreative.uk

within 7 days of the invoice date.

If no query is raised within this period, the invoice and associated charges will be treated as accepted, subject to applicable law.

Raising a query does not automatically remove the obligation to pay any undisputed portion of an invoice.

15. OVERDUE PAYMENTS

Where payment becomes overdue, we reserve the right to take reasonable steps to recover sums owed to us.

Where legally applicable, this may include charging statutory interest, compensation and reasonable debt recovery costs.

We may also suspend further work or withdraw credit facilities while an account remains overdue.

16. CANCELLATIONS

If an order is cancelled after confirmation, the client may be charged for work already undertaken and costs already incurred.

This may include:

  • design and artwork time
  • materials
  • outsourced services
  • production
  • labour
  • booked installation resources
  • delivery arrangements
  • other committed project costs

Where production has substantially progressed or been completed, the full order value may remain payable where appropriate.

17. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, intellectual property owned by either party before a project remains the property of that party.

Clients are responsible for ensuring they have permission to use any artwork, photographs, logos, trademarks or other material supplied to Candid for reproduction.

Where Candid creates original design work, ownership and permitted use may be subject to the specific quotation or agreement for that project.

18. PHOTOGRAPHY AND PORTFOLIO USE

Unless confidentiality has been agreed or the client asks us not to, Candid may photograph completed work and use those images to demonstrate our services, including on our website, portfolio and social media.

We will take reasonable care not to disclose confidential project information.

19. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Some projects may require third-party suppliers, installers, couriers, manufacturers or other specialist services.

We may engage suitable third parties where reasonably necessary to deliver the agreed project.

20. LIABILITY

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

Subject to applicable law, Candid will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from a project.

Where a problem occurs, the client should notify us promptly and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and, where appropriate, remedy the issue.

21. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control.

These may include transport disruption, severe weather, supplier failure, material shortages, utility or technology outages, industrial action, site restrictions and other unforeseen events.

We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption where practicable.

22. CONFIDENTIALITY

Where confidential information is shared with us in connection with a project, we will take reasonable steps to protect it and use it only for legitimate business and project purposes.

This does not apply to information that is already public or which we are required by law to disclose.

23. PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to a particular order will generally be the version in effect when that order is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed.

25. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory rights that apply under law.
